Cotton Mill Farmers Market is hiring for the position of Summer Market Manager for the 2022 summer market season.

 

Cotton Mill Farmers Market is a producer only market in Carrollton, GA. The market operates every Saturday morning.

 

Market Day

 The Market Manager is responsible for setting up the market site, setting up for events, collecting vendor fees, distributing SNAP/EBT tokens and collecting payment, answering customer questions during market, cleaning up the market site after market and providing reports to the Board of CMFM as requested.

 

Each Week

 The Market Manager is responsible for communicating with vendors to see which ones will be at market, organizing the market layout in advance of market, preparing, and sending out a weekly email newsletter, updating the website as needed, utilizing social media platforms to promote the market, and preparing the required EBT/SNAP reports.

 

Qualifications

 Available from 7am until 11:30 am each Saturday of the summer market season.

Physically able to lift tables and chairs and set up tents.

Ability to interact positively with a variety of people.

Detailed organizational ability.

Must have cell phone and tablet or computer.

Proficient using a variety of internet-based media platforms.

Previous experience working in a farmers market environment a plus.

 

Compensation

 $200 weekly from April thru September paid twice a month.
