Whole Grains and More

Melanie and Eddie Skinner

We opened our business in April 2002, and currently bake exclusively for the Cotton Mill Farmers Market. We have been a part of the Farmers Market for 13 years.

Melanie Hubbard Skinner was born and raised in Carrollton and graduated from Carrollton High School. She loves her hometown and the people that live here. "I’m very blessed to have such wonderful customers and friends who support me each and every week," she says excitedly. Melanie is now a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and we can tell she puts not only that skill and education into her work, but also the love and care she holds for her community, into her products.

Whole Grains and More uses as many local ingredients as they can. For instance, they use local eggs, blueberries from their own bushes, local strawberries, pecans, and sometimes apples. She grinds her wheat berries for fresh flour, makes her own gluten free flour blends and uses organic sources as much as possible.
